Kevin Baker Jr. was arrested at his Sandy Lane apartment after investigators served search warrants on Thursday, July 6, Bensalem police said in a release.

The 21-year-old had $120,000 in cash and "high-end watches" along with "dab oils," THC gummies, over 200 vape cartridges, and other drug paraphernalia stashed in his home, authorities claim.

The warrants came after Bensalem police conducted a number of "controlled" purchases from the alleged drug dealer, the department said.

Baker was charged with possession with intent to deliver and related drug offenses, according to the release.

At the time of his arrest last week, the 21-year-old was out of jail on bond in connection with the Christmas Eve crash that killed pedestrian John Dugan in Bristol Township in 2021.

Dugan, 65, was crossing Street Road when Baker struck him and fled the scene, police have alleged. Baker surrendered to police on April 25 last year and was released on a $15,000 bond the same day, according to court records.

After his arrest last week, the 21-year-old was remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility in lieu of 10 percent of a $7 million bail, police said. Court records for the drug charges were not immediately available Monday afternoon.
